After I Walked Away, My Billionaire Ex Begged Me Back
Chapter 350: Grant Holloway Yanked Off His Tie in Frustration
Grant Holloway yanked off his tie in frustration.
"I told you Paige Lawson's baby shouldn't have been kept. But you insisted. Now clean up this mess yourself!"
He slammed the door behind him.
Catherine Holloway trembled with rage after being scolded by both her husband and son.
"How dare you both blame me? Everything I did was for this family! You understand nothing!"
"Go then—leave—never come back—"
"My husband berates me. My son disrespects me. My grandchild is gone. What sin did I commit in my past life..."
She collapsed onto the sofa.
But the mess remained.
She ordered the butler to find Donna Russo's number.
The digits appeared swiftly.
Catherine took a deep breath and dialed.
"Who is this?" Donna snapped, irritated by her video's lack of traction.
"Catherine Holloway."
Donna's eyes gleamed.
"Oh?" She drew out the syllable. "What do you want?"
The video had worked.
"Name your terms." Catherine cut to the chase.
Donna exchanged glances with her son. "Terms for what?"
"Stop pretending! You caused this spectacle for money, didn't you?"
Donna narrowed her eyes. "I'm seeking justice for my daughter. Is that how you see it?"
"Hypocrite!" Catherine sneered.
"Watch your tone. You're the one begging now."
"State your price. Consider it charity. Our family donates plenty annually."
Charity?
Beggar?
Donna's blood boiled.
She changed tactics. "Who tried to run us over days ago? Now you come crawling?"
First, she'd savor this.
Catherine fought the urge to hang up.
"Enough! How much?"
Hearing her impatience, Donna deliberately stalled.
"Why rush? Shouldn't you apologize first?"
Catherine gritted her teeth. "The driver was careless. I'll fire him immediately."
"That's it? Money alone won't fix this."
"What else do you want?!" Catherine finally exploded.
Donna spoke leisurely. "Show some sincerity, Mrs. Holloway."
A chill ran down Catherine's spine.
Dread pooled in her stomach.
