After I Walked Away, My Billionaire Ex Begged Me Back

Chapter 349: Grant Holloway's Phone Suddenly Vibrated

Grant Holloway's phone suddenly vibrated.

An unknown number flashed on the screen.

"Hello? Who is this?" He answered the call.

A cold voice came through. "Good day. I'm the head of the legal department at Holloway Holdings. Regarding the false statements you've been spreading online, we've completed our evidence collection."

Grant's fingers trembled slightly.

"Under relevant laws, we reserve the right to pursue legal action against you." The voice paused. "We advise you to cease all infringements immediately."

After the call ended, beads of sweat formed on Grant's forehead.

Donna Russo scoffed. "Just a legal notice. What's there to fear? The more they react, the guiltier they look!"

She snatched the phone. "Keep posting! For every video they take down, we'll upload ten more!"

But reality hit them hard.

Every video they uploaded was forcibly removed within five minutes.

Grant stared at the vanished $5,000 he'd spent on promotions, feeling numb.

"Mom, I'm out of money..."

Donna's expression darkened. "Already?"

"Can you lend me some?"

Her eyes darted. "This is too wasteful. Let's try another approach."

She lowered her voice. "Create more burner accounts. Skip paid promotions—rely on organic reach."

Grant hesitated. "But no one will see them that way..."

Meanwhile, at Holloway Holdings headquarters.

"Mr. Holloway, they're still at it," the assistant reported quietly.

Grant didn't look up. "Let them."

His slender fingers tapped the keyboard. "Just clowns putting on a show."

Yet the spectacle caught the attention of someone it shouldn't have.

Theodore Holloway was reviewing documents when his secretary knocked.

"Chairman, there's a matter requiring your attention."

The secretary handed him a tablet.

The video showed Trevor Russo's tearful accusations, sharp and grating.

Theo's brow furrowed. "Contact PR. Handle this immediately."

He dialed an internal line. "Get Grant back here now."

* * *

The Holloway family estate.

Catherine Holloway stood in the living room, barely breathing.

At the sound of the doorbell, she rushed to answer.

"Son," she whispered, "your father is furious."

Grant walked into the study expressionlessly.

"Dad."

Theo turned, his gaze sharp as a blade.

"With the shareholders' meeting approaching, you're causing scandals?"

Catherine tried to mediate. "Darling, this won't have much impact—"

"Enough!" Theo snapped. "Holloway Holdings's stock can't afford any fluctuations!"

He glared at Grant. "I don't care how you do it. Fix this. Now."

Before leaving, he delivered his ultimatum. "One more misstep, and you're done as VP."

The study door slammed shut.

Catherine exhaled. "Son, this time you really—"

Grant cut her off. "I know what to do."
