Sabrina smirked, shooting Camille a disdainful glance before leaving with the others to help Tristan move into the boys' dorm.

After settling Noah's luggage, Camille left campus and returned home.

The moment she stepped inside, there was a knock. Freya and Maisie stood at the door, freshly returned from their hometown. They'd brought local specialties.

Camille accepted the gifts. "Thank you."

"You're welcome!" Maisie beamed.

She pulled a small trinket from her pocket. "I saved this for Chloe. I'll give it to her tomorrow at school!"

Maisie adored Chloe. Ever since New Year's when Chloe called her first, their bond had deepened. She chattered excitedly about the first day of school.

Listening, Camille realized Chloe hadn't called her lately. Tomorrow marked the new term. No call meant Chloe didn't want her there.

On Wednesday, Camille and Gabriel handled business near Harrington Manor. As they got in their car, another vehicle emerged from the private road—Damien's regular car.

It pulled over.
