Chapter 214: Derek and Vanessa Had Accused Sienna of Infidelity

“What’s next?” Senior Henry scoffed. “You believe this is unfair? When Sienna made an error, she endured five years in Africa before returning. Your transgression today is far more severe than hers ever was!”

Back then, Derek and Vanessa had accused Sienna of infidelity, claiming she carried another man’s child. They alleged Derek discovered the truth and accidentally pushed her down the stairs. Desperate, she clutched Helena’s arm. “Mother, help me! I’ve learned my lesson! I won’t repeat this! I refuse to go to such a place! I can’t!” Helena’s heart ached watching Vanessa’s tears. But she was horrified by Vanessa’s actions and true nature. Outwardly, Vanessa supported Derek and Sienna. Secretly, she seduced Derek and schemed to seize Sienna’s assets! Her ragged sobs tugged at many hearts. However furious Helena and Philip were, Vanessa was still the daughter they raised from childhood. She was their favorite! Unable to restrain herself, Helena turned to Senior Henry. “Father, perhaps let Vanessa stay? We can punish her here as we see fit. She truly is young and foolish…”

“Hah! Did any of you speak for Sienna when she erred? She was merely eighteen then! Was she not young? If Sienna survived Africa alone, can a twenty-three-year-old Vanessa truly not manage?” Senior Henry retorted furiously.

Noah nodded in agreement. “Exactly! My father says noble families must uphold strict rules. This sort of person cannot be pardoned!”
