After I Walked Away, My Billionaire Ex Begged Me Back
Chapter 476: Helen's Fingertips Lightly Traced the Dresses on the Clothing Rack
Helen's fingertips lightly traced the dresses on the clothing rack.
"Which one looks better?" Daniel stood behind her holding two suits.
Her gaze wandered between the racks. "They're both nice."
"Then what should I do?" He frowned at the clothes in his hands.
A small smile curved her lips. "Buy them all."
"No!" Daniel shook his head quickly. "That's too extravagant. One is enough."
Helen already handed her credit card to the sales associate. "Please wrap all three."
The sales associate beamed. "Right away!"
Daniel tugged her sleeve. "Honey, this is too expensive..."
"It's fine." She leaned closer, whispering in his ear. "I just got a royalty check. Over a hundred thousand."
His eyes widened. "That much?"
"Mhm~" She winked playfully.
"My wife is amazing!" Daniel couldn't resist hugging her.
Clara cleared her throat loudly. "Get a room!"
The men's section was quickly settled, but Helen lingered indecisively in women's wear. She critically browsed store after store without even wanting to try anything on.
"I remember a French brand..." Clara suddenly recalled something, leading them to a secluded corner of the mall.
Tucked away in an obscure location, the boutique still made Helen's eyes light up upon entering. She went straight to the display area and selected two dresses to try.
The orange one was vibrant, the blue one elegant—both complemented her porcelain skin perfectly. Delicate lace embroidery blossomed along the hems, while the chest fringe swayed gently with each step.
Yet something still felt missing.
Her gaze suddenly caught on the window display. A seemingly plain black dress hung quietly, its only accent being the white tulle wrapped around the waist.
Simple yet romantic—the epitome of French style she adored.

Lenora wandered aimlessly through the mall.
An inconspicuous little shop at the corner caught her eye. The black dress in the window made her pause.
After entering, she tried several dresses but ultimately preferred the original black one.
"Wrap this for me." As she went to check out, she suddenly saw another woman wearing the same dress she'd just tried on.
The sales associate held her breath nervously.
Lenora narrowed her eyes and strode toward Helen. The associate mentally rehearsed countless mediation lines.
Two elegant women wearing identical dresses—this confrontation wouldn't end peacefully.
